THEME: MASTERING STRESS & ANXIETY
• DECEMBER 9-11, 2022

Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose
our response. And in our response lies our growth, freedom, and happiness.

“All Of Life Has Suffering. And There Is a Way Out.”

~ The Buddha ~

If there is one experience that is universally understood, it’s stress.

And if there is one experience that seems to define the suffering in our life more than anything else, it’s stress.

It negatively impacts our relationships, our parenting, our sense of fulfillment, our physical health, and more.

Yes, stress can serve us positively. Every person can point to ways in which stress has been useful.

We must honor that. Deeply.

But when stress becomes the predominant feature of our life…

It shifts from a useful tool that we have access to…

To a destructive energy that colors every facet of our experience.

So much so that it can become our baseline experience of being human, hurting us in ways that we’re no longer aware of.

It leads us to feel that “this is just who I am!”

It’s not. It’s a chemical cocktail that keeps you feeling fearful, agitated, small, and defensive.

But there’s a way to reconnect to the YOU that is “trapped” in this experience.

The promise of that has been written about across many domains.

Psychology, neuroscience, biology, nutrition, sprititualy, shamanism, and others.

Most of the time, we approach stress through one of these lenses.

And that’s good, but in my experience, to take any one lens to define and relieve stress, and then to be dogmatic around it, is to miss the mark.

Because you are a whole being, with many different parts, and many different expressions.

And often what presents itself on the surface as “something that is off” is just a symptom of something way deeper.

We’re going to address all the different levels, from mindset, to concentration training, to trauma work, to unwinding deep somatic tension, to the role of systems, and more.

In this retreat, we will explore how the thread of stress presents itself in your experience, and then follow it into the depths of its inception.

It is my first true immersive experience I’m offering on the topic of working with stress and anxiety. I’d love for you to experience it.

If you’re new to my online retreats, here’s what past
participants have said:

Praise:

“This is my fifth online retreat and it is something that I not only look forward to, but for which I feel a definite and continuing need to learn. Who knew that there could be a sense of community in a virtual format with people I have never met? Who knew that you could find a teacher/mentor in mindfulness in such a format? I am enriched multifold each time I log on to any part of these retreats. And I do use the recorded sessions to revisit, take new notes, get inspired. I can’t wait for the next one.”

– Shari Agrell

“This retreat changed my life. Truly!! After the retreat, I could feel how much more grounded I was, I was able to make decisions about my new business and kids and life with better ease. I have a lot on my plate right now and I could really feel the clarity open up. I could feel the calmness of the waves and now crave meditation. I will now make it a part of my life because I had this opportunity to really feel the benefit for myself. I will definitely attend another retreat in the future. I really appreciate how Cory teaches and how humble and real he is. He is a gift and I appreciate him sharing his gift.”

– Heather

“This was my first ever retreat. It was an amazing, enlightening, thought-provoking experience. I came out of it feeling exhausted and hopeful. I came into it expecting to get new information; I wasn’t expecting the skills for navigating life that I’ve taken beyond the retreat. I was expecting an experience that would end with the retreat but even though it’s only been 24 hours, I can feel something has shifted that will create long-term impact. I’ll definitely be back for more retreats in the future.

– Henry

“For me, these retreats have been profound and life-changing.”

– Dennis Blanchut

“I have long been unable to go to traditional meditation retreats because I have small children. This online format provided me with the opportunity (and no excuse) to engage! It was more than I expected – and I had pretty high expectations. Cory’s presence, his depth of knowledge, the structure, and the powerful journey I had were worth far more than the modest cost. I feel cleansed and more centered. I’m deeply grateful for the experience.”

– Shannon Polly

This was literally the missing piece of my spiritual journey that I’ve been looking for. Cory’s retreat was like nothing else I’ve seen offered in the meditation space. His teaching style is honest and refreshing. He is always well prepared and yet able to pivot when the group needs something different. He truly embodies what he teaches. I look forward to attending anything he offers in the future.”

– Debby Germino

This retreat was so deep, so personal. Spectacular, really, that it has left me speechless. I think it boils down to: “The adventure continues. I can hardly wait for the next one.”

Key Details:

The schedule for this retreat can be found below or to the side (depending on which device you’re viewing this on). We will meet on zoom. I understand that different schedules and time zones may make it difficult to attend the sessions live, and that is okay. You do not need to be present in the live sessions to register. All sessions will be recorded and available shortly within 30 minutes of their completion, and they will be yours to keep forever. So, if you’re interested in the content, but are not available, you can register and review the recordings, resources, and bonuses when it’s convenient for you. The retreat will not be available for purchase after it begins.

This weekend retreat is designed to help you manage the very thing most of us struggle with most–stress and anxiety. It will help you find the root causes of these experiences, reconnect to who you are beyond these experiences, and develop highly practical tools to navigate them.

All you need to do is show up and let the experience work through you.

I’d love to have you there.

Warm wishes,
Cory
