There may come a time when you grow out of certain friendships and relationships.

 

You can appreciate the people who were in your life, for what they did, and how they served you.

 

We’re constantly changing, though. And the people we once chose to surround ourselves with may be different from who we’re trying to surround ourselves with in the future, even if you once said “we’ll always be friends.”

 

You can honor and respect the person for who they were in your life. You can still always consider them a friend.

 

But if you’re only associating with someone because you feel an obligation to, you’re doing a disservice to you and them.
