Instead of eradicating your weaknesses, maximize your strengths.

We all have different strengths and weaknesses. The tendency can be to focus on and eradicate our weaknesses. However, research suggests that by identifying your unique strengths and applying them more regularly, your wellbeing will increase, you’ll be more effective in the workplace, and you’ll experience less stress.

It’s still important to work on certain weaknesses, especially if they’re impacting your life in a very negative way. But instead of trying to turn your weaknesses into your top strengths, perhaps get them to a place where they’re not pulling you down as much, and focus more of your attention on further developing and employing the strengths that come most easily to you.
